“Guiding Good Choices” teaches parents effective methods to help their children avoid problem behaviors and strengthen family bonds. The curriculum of this program is based on scientifically proven research of adolescents and their needs and behaviors.

 

Facilitated by One Great River, the five-part workshop covers:

 

I. Health Risk Behaviors

II. How to Develop Healthy Beliefs and Clear Standards

III. Avoiding Trouble: How to Say No to Drugs (Children attend this session)

IV. Managing Conflict: How to Control & Express Your Anger

V. Involving Everyone: How to Strengthen Family Bonds
