Traffic Flow Drop-Off/Pick-Up Rules

Please read and adhere to the following information to insure an expedient drop off and pick up for your child. We look forward to another great school year.

These rules exist first and foremost for the safety of the children.

  • Students can only cross the street at the crosswalk, with a crossing guard.
  • Students must be dropped off and picked up at their designated locations.
  • Do not block the driveways of homeowners on Patton and Atlantic .
  • Absolutely no parking on the streets near the church and school: Patton Avenue, Anniston Avenue, Atlantic or Fremont . (Parking on these streets greatly decreases visibility and the flow of the traffic.)
  • No parking while in the carpool line. Do not leave your vehicle or allow children to do so.
  • Parking is only allowed in the spaces in the church parking lot. Please use the spaces farthest away from the church.

There are four drop-off and pick-up locations:

  • K-3, K-4 and K-5 - at their classrooms.
  • Grades 1 and 2 - Church parking lot.
  • Grades 3 through 5 - Gremillion Hall parking lot.
  • Multiple children - drop off and pick up at youngest child's location.

Please remember that the lane next to the Family Life Center and into the parking lot by Gremillion Hall is utilized by kindergarten and grades 3-8, so we are asking that parents of students in grades 3-8 delay their arrival to avoid blocking the lane.

If everyone follows the simple procedures, we hope that the traffic will flow safely and smoothly. Patience will always be required. Courtesy will always be expected, even toward those who habitually break the rules.

Drop-off times: 7:25 - 7:40 a.m. (DO NOT drop students off before 7:25 am . No child is "old enough" to be on campus alone without adult supervision!)

Pick-up times:
Kindergarten Village : 2:30 - 2:50 p.m.
K-3, K-4 and K-5 students not picked up by 2:50 are sent to After-School Care and parents are charged a fee.

Grades 1-8: 3:05 - 3:20 p.m.
Students remaining after 3:20 will be directed to After-School Care and parents will be charged a fee.
